Movie Scream will be playing at the Crystal Ballroom in the city on 5th December 2005. Tickets are $6 and will be available at the door. This is our last show for 2005 folks so let's go out with a bang!

So What is This About?

"Movie Scream" is a monumental cacophony of vision and music with the odd special effect thrown in for good measure. A fusion of light and sound that assaults your senses and leaves your body wracked with pain, yet still yearning for more pummelling and an ever-so-slight kicking. It will split your retinas and leave your ears bleeding with it's eclectic mix of shlocky B-grade science fiction and horror movie pap coupled with haunting, experimental, moody and sometimes frenetic "stadium rock-like" musical accompaniment.

It's the other, other, other white meat that the books tell you to stay definately away from. Still, man doesn't live by flesh eating zombies alone!

If you want your Nosferatus mixed with your Rick Wakemans, your Ed Woods curdled with your Steve Winwoods then "Movie Scream" is DEFINATELY for YOU!

Who?

Doctor A is your MC, organist, effects meister and main protagonist for the evening. He's an afficianado of great music and crap films and he loves to unleash both onto an unsuspecting public. He is often accompanied by a rag-tag scourellous band of misfits known as "The Concoctions" who play a range of instruments - guitars, saxophones, bongos - and seem to come and go as they see fit. While they're together though and the moviehouse lights are down low Doctor A and the Concoctions wil rock your world!

Doctor A is NOT really a doctor but he IS a real A!

Benefits

By keeping the interest up in old B-grade movies it will help to insure that these movies will never disappear from view.

Of couse some people might like that to happen but we don't really wanna mention them. They're just losers!
