Dream: I was at a RHCP concert and the opening bands were so long and boring I ended up falling asleep in my chair while waiting for the Peppers to hit the stage. When i awoke the concert was over..I has slept through the whole thing and the arena was empty except for the 4 band members who were sitting therewaiting for me to wake up. When I realized what I had done I blushed (of course) and told them how sorry I was that I had slept through their concert..and well...all of them laughed at me except Dave who put his arm around me and said "Thats ok I probaly would have done the same thing if I had to sit through our concert too..." Then I woke up =)

Dave : I have been a fan of Dave's for awhile now. I have seen Dave play live twice..once with RHCP and once with the Jane's re-lapse tour, two of the best concerts I have ever seen...especialy the Jane's show. I remember hearing Janes songs on MTV and the Radio and liking them but nothing more. Then when he joined the Peppers I really started to hear his playing..his own style of guitar music. Up till then I wasnt a big fan of the guitar..most everything I had heard all sounded the same and that rather annoyed me. Then entered Mr. Navarro. Dave had his own style and that caught my attention right away, each of his songs has a different sound to it and all of his music has so much depth, he seems to feel the music not just play it. Thats when I fell in love with his music. So after that I went back and I bought everything I could on Jane's and was blown away by it, then the same with Deconstruction. There are so many different moods and feelings in his playing. If I am sad or having a bad day I know I can come home and find a song of his that will cheer me up or at least give the feeling that I am not the only one who has had to live through tough times, and its the same way if I am happy and in an obnxious mood I can find something fitting then too =). I am very happy that I took a friends advice and bought the "One Hot Minute" CD, if I hadn't I would have probably never discovered who Dave Navarro is & missed out on alot of excellent music. I can't wait to hear more.
