"Since I couldn't think of a dream, I decided to share this story instead...Setting: Pre Janes Addiction show, halloween, 1997, NYC. As if the fact that I was going to another Janes show was not enough drama for me to handle, Alex and I had passes, and tickets to the 'after show party'. Beyond estatic in anticipation is not enough to describe my excitement. I precicely planned everything. A special day deserved the most special attention. Since it was so important to me, I wanted to bring SOMETHING special for the band. Something small, yet something they wouldn't forget. I asked Alex to help me brainstorm, and I said 'ya know, something really different...like a vat of potato salad or something'. I then pictured myself teetering in the pit on 6 inch stiletto platforms, and black velvet gown and cloak, trying to steady not only myself, but this huge vat of potato salad! It was so totally absurd!....Needless to say, I obviously never even considered it an option. Instead, I crocheted a bunch of different colored flowers, and showered Dave and Stephen with them through the open window of their limo..." :)

Dave: I am an artist of many mediums. Your work has been a tremendous positive influence. It inspires me to create. It has given me hope during bad times, and made me even happier during the good. Being involved with other fans through the mailing list, BBS, and chats, just makes me feel like a kid again.
